Yangki Imade Suara was born in Lima Puluh Kota, a regency in Sumatra Barat 14 May 1989. He has an interest about international relationship and in winter 2008 he was selected to represent Padjadjaran University in the 54th Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) Conference held by Harvard University, Boston, MA, USA. As an economics student, in 2009 he also selected to represent Padjadjaran University in International Economics Summit BlissPoint 2009 held by Sri Venkateswara College (Delhi University), Delhi, India.
Since 2008, with colleagues from Economics Department, Padjadjaran University he established Kandank Ilmu which is an online project to provide courses material for economics students and in the other hand, that project also reduce paper consumption among students. Later, that project becoming the best project in Danamon Young Leaders Award 2009 for it's impact on environment.
His interest in environment make him appointed to represent Indonesian Youth under Global South Youth Delegation in the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference, commonly known as the Copenhagen Summit or the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP 15) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In 2010, he was selected as Forest Friends Indonesia by WWF-Indonesia (May 2010). Together with Forest Friends Germany, he raised 6,378 fans and converted to 63,780 trees that will be plant in Tesso Nilo National Park in 2011 to celebrate International Year of Forest and also to preserve the Sumatran Tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) population. Forest Friends is a join project between WWF-Indonesia and WWF-Germany. He also selected to represent Indonesia in the 2nd Global Young Greens Congress in Berlin, Germany and one of the outcome of this congress is to established and to connect Greens in regional level (August 2010).
He also an alumnus of Study of the United States Institute (SUSI) for Student Leaders on Energy and Environment - Institute of Training and Development Amherst (ITD-Amherst) & University of Massachusetts (UMass) after selected as one of the students from Indonesia and spending 5 weeks summer school in Amherst-MA, Tucson-AZ and Washington-DC.
In 2011, he just received a Bachelor Degree on Economics from Padjadjaran University, after completing and defending a bachelor thesis on "Analysis the Impact of Climate Change on Export Growth in Twenty Major Greenhouse Gases Emitting Countries" under the supervision of distinguished scholar on Environmental Economics, Dr. Arief Anshory Yusuf.
